Heaviside (Martian crater)

Heaviside is an impact crater in the Mare Australe quadrangle of Mars , located at 70.7°S latitude and 95.3°W longitude and is inside Aonia Terra . It is 87.4  km in diameter and was named after Oliver Heaviside , and the name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN). [1]
